Jesse Couch "Jake" Howard
JUNE 21, 1946 - JANUARY 15, 2020 (73 Years Old) - LIFE MEMBER Jesse Couch Howard was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 21, 1946. He was one of three children born to the late Jesse Couch Howard, Sr. and Ethlyn Lanette Mitchell Howard. Since having two guys in the same family with the same name could be confusing, the younger one came to be known as “Jake”. Jake would serve in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970 during the Vietnam War. In 1987 Jake and his wife Eveann made the decision to move their family to Newnan from Jacksonville, Florida. Jake had an affinity for anything mechanical and loved the challenge of “fixing any and everything”. This meshed seamlessly with his career choice and he was employed as an electronics technician for Video Jet. Jake was not a one-dimensional person by any means.
